Sparrow & Barbossa drop fresh Afro-house EP on CircoLoco Records

Madrid-based duo Sparrow & Barbossa have released their new two-track EP, ‘You Go’, on CircoLoco Records.

Sparrow & Barbossa is Swiss DJ-producer Bryan Coletta, son of jazz musician Francis Coletta, and Uruguayan percussionist and former Space Ibiza resident, Emiliano Haberli. The pair mix up live instrumentation such as piano and tribal percussion with contemporary electronic production and have taken their show to the likes of Coachella, Tomorrowland and Tomorrowland Belgium. Their understanding of rhythm and melody has led to several Beatport #1 records and high-profile collaborations with artists like Sia, Deadmau5, Jamie Jones and Rampa.

The You Go EP features two new tracks that lean into Afro-house vibes. The opener featuring Sebastian Rivero layers warm chords and subdued vocals over crisp, glassy synths and rhythmic percussion, while 'Float’ featuring Brooklyn artist BAYLI is a bright, catchy club anthem.
