Solardo return with summer anthem ‘freedom’ on blanc
Manchester duo Solardo have returned with ‘Freedom’, a new tech house anthem released via Blanc that arrives alongside an ambitious campaign spanning surprise pop-up events, fan activations and high-profile brand collaborations.
Built around themes of escapism, unity and collective energy, Freedom captures the euphoric spirit that has defined Solardo’s rise over the past decade. Driven by rolling basslines, infectious grooves and peak-time energy, the track delivers the duo’s unmistakable take on modern tech house just as the summer season reaches full swing.
The release was introduced through a large-scale promotional campaign in partnership with AU Vodka, highlighted by a surprise pop-up performance at Garden at Boxpark Liverpool on July 11. Filmed in immersive 360-degree format, the event gave fans both on-site and online an opportunity to experience the launch, while additional activations, including a gold Lamborghini procession, extended the campaign beyond the club environment.
Comprised of Mark Richards and James Eliot, Solardo have become one of the defining names in contemporary house music. Since emerging from Manchester, the pair have built a catalogue of club records and collaborations with artists including Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Carl Cox, Duke Dumont, Gorgon City and Tiësto, while earning DJ Mag awards and performing at major festivals and headline shows around the world.
